Hot Rods 11, South Bend 5Alejandro Segovia doubled, singled twice, had three RBIs and scored. Jake Hager singled, walked twice, stole and scored thrice. Taylor Motter hit a two-run homer, walked, stole twice and scored twice. Josh Sale doubled, walked twice and scored twice. Jake Floethe lasted just 1 2/3 innings (?) with four runs on four hits and three walks against him. Reinaldo Lopez allowed a run on 4 1/3 before Stayton Thomas worked three shutout.
Staten Island 8, Renegades 3
Michael Williams singled walked and scored. Matt Spann surrendered six runs on six hits and five walks in three-plus innings. Alex Moshier threw two perfect frames in his debut.
P-Rays 4, Elizabethton 3John Alexander doubled home Ariel Soriano in the ninth. Randy Davis gave up a hit in 2 1/3 innings. Nick Sawyer's two shutout innings, albeit with two walks, cut his ERA to 0.37.
