Kyle Jensen's grand slam capped a five-run sixth inning that lifted the Jacksonville Suns to a 6-2 win over the Biscuits on Friday.
The Suns pulled within two games of the first-place Biscuits in the Southern League's second-half South Division race. There are nine games left in the regular season.
Starter Merrill Kelly hit a batter, issued a walk and gave up a bloop single to load the bases with none out. Reliever C.J. Riefenhauser, after a groundout, gave up a sacrifice fly to tie the game before a walk loaded the bases.
Jensen hit a no-doubt blast to left for his 23rd home run of the year. It was the second grand slam this season and 22nd all-time hit off the Biscuits.
Montgomery catcher Mark Thomas singled twice, was hit by a pitch and hit a sacrifice fly. Ryan Garko had three singles, including one that brought home Ty Morrison in the third.
