Biscuits catcher Mayo Acosta left Sunday's game with an apparent ankle injury after a sixth-inning collision at home plate.
Acosta immediately started pointing to his right ankle after Jacksonville's Kyle Skipworth ran over him. He did not overly grimace in pain as trainer Kris Russell checked on him. As Russell and shortstop Shawn O'Malley helped Acosta to the dugout, Acosta did put some weight on his foot. He put none on it as he went down the dugout steps.
