Jacksonville Suns outfielder Kyle Jensen, who has bashed the Biscuits the last three days, won the Southern League's hitter of the week award Monday.
Jensen was 12-for-26 with five home runs, 13 RBIs and 12 runs scored for the week that ended Sunday. He had six hits, including a grand slam, and seven RBIs in the first three games of the current series with Montgomery. Jensen has a .224 average, 23 homers and 75 RBIs for the year.
Mississippi Braves right-hander J.R. Graham, with two starts of six shutout innings, was the pitcher of the week. He gave up four hits and totaled 13 strikeouts in those 12 innings.
