At least three slots on Tampa Bay's Arizona Fall League contingent have been filled.
Biscuits shortstop Hak Ju-Lee said Friday, before leaving the team to rehab an ailing oblique, that he's be part of the Rays' seven-player AFL party. Pitchers Kirby Yates and C.J. Riefenhauser said they've been invited, too.
"I'm looking forward to it and everything feels good right now," Lee said.
Yates went last year and had a 6.97 ERA in nine appearances. Teams generally send four pitchers and three position players. Pitcher Chris Rearick and infielder Derek Dietrich said they've been told it's possible they'll go, but they haven't officially informed.
"Last year, I didn't know what to expect. This year, it will probably be different," Yates said. "It's a good league and a lot of fun with a lot of guys who can really hit."
Said Riefenhauser: "I'm real excited and it's a nice honor. I'm looking forward to keep playing. I hear it's a good league."
