Daniel Corcino helped the Pensacola Blue Wahoos record a three-hitter in Thursday's 6-0 win over the Biscuits.
Corcino gave up two hits in five innings to snap a six-start winless streak. Josh Ravin threw two hitless innings before Chris Manno's two-hit ninth.
Pensacola recorded its 11th shutout of the season. Montgomery failed to score for the sixth time.
Second-place Jacksonville, with a 5-4 win over Birmingham, chopped the Biscuits' second-half South Division lead to three games. The Suns start a five-game series Friday at Riverwalk Stadium. There are 10 games remaining in the regular season.
Yordanys Perez's two-run triple started the scoring in a five-run fifth inning for the Wahoos. In the eighth, Tucker Barnhart scored on a Scott Shuman wild pitch.
Pensacola shortstop Billy Hamilton, who reached base three times, was caught stealing twice.
