Right-hander Taylor Guerrieri, after celebrating a league title with the Hudson Valley Renegades on Thursday, won Baseball America's short-season Class A pitcher of the year award Friday.
Hudson Valley's Jared Sandberg was the short-season Class A manager of the year.
Guerrieri and right-hander Jeff Ames were on the magazine's short-season Class A All-Star list, while Durham right-hander Chris Archer was a Triple-A All-Star.
Left-hander Blake Snell and righty Nick Sawyer made the Rookie-level team. Snell spent all season with Princeton. Sawyer was with the GCL Rays and Princeton before a last-week promotion to low-Class A Bowling Green.
Montgomery-born David Dahl was the Rookie-level player of the year after a Pioneer League MVP performance for the Grand Junction Rockies.
