The Charlotte Stone Crabs came within one out of a no-hitter in Saturday's 4-1 home win over Palm Beach.
Lenny Linsky gave up an RBI triple with two outs in the ninth inning. Palm Beach had just one baserunner in the first eight innings, via an error from third baseman Richie Shaffer.
Starter Jesse Hahn worked three innings and Jake Floethe retired all 15 hitters he faced. Hahn and Floethe each struck out two and had six groundball outs.
