Matt Buschmann threw six shutout innings and Juan Sandoval tossed two perfect frames in the Biscuits' 4-3 win over the Jackson Generals on Wednesday.
Sandoval faced five batters and recorded six outs.
Buschmann allowed seven hits, but he walked none and struck out five. C.J. Riefenhauser gave up three runs in the seventh inning and a leadoff single in the eighth before the Biscuits called on Sandoval.
Ty Morrison had two RBIs and Riccio Torrez scored twice for the Biscuits.
Montgomery scored twice in the second inning on a two-error play by Jackson. In the fourth, Morrison singled home Torrez. In the sixth, Kevin Kiermaier came home on a Morrison flyout.
The Generals committed seven errors.
