Charlotte Stone Crabs catcher Luke Bailey won the Florida State League's player of the week award.
Bailey was 8-for-19 with two home runs, four doubles and five RBIs for the week. He's hitting .239 with six homers and 26 RBIs in 59 games this year.
He's the first Stone Crabs hitter so honored this year. Charlotte has had two pitchers: C.J. Riefenhauser in mid-May and Enny Romero in mid-June.
