Sawyer, Argo jump from P-Rays to Hot Rods

Right-handed pitcher Nick Sawyer, with an 0.37 ERA, and outfielder Willie Argo, with a .404 on-base percentage, have been promoted from Rookie-level Princeton to low-Class A Bowling Green.

They'll join the Hot Rods today for their series at Lake County, according to the P-Rays.

Argo, a 22nd-round pick this year from the University of Illinois, had a .301 average and 31 walks in 64 games. He had 24 RBIs and 41 runs scored.
