Joe Davis, after three seasons as the voice of the Biscuits, is leaving for a full-time job with ESPN. Aaron Vargas, Davis' assistant this year, will be promoted to the team's top broadcasting chair.
Davis, who will finish the season, has already missed games for two ESPN assignments this year and has a third this week. He'll broadcast the Arizona-Toledo game on Saturday during Montgomery's final series.
