The Biscuits did their part to help decide the season's first Southern League players of the week.
Mobile right-hander Chase Anderson, who dominated Montgomery on Wednesday, was the pitcher of the week.
Jacksonville first baseman Brady Shoemaker took hitter's honors.
Anderson threw six shutout innings and gave up four hits to the Biscuits. In two starts, he's 2-0 with five hits allowed over 12 shutout innings.
Shoemaker has a .429 average through 10 games. His three doubles and two home runs leave him with a 1.318 OPS. Shoemaker also two RBIs and six runs scored.
