Jordan Parraz homered to lead off the bottom of the ninth inning and lift the Mobile BayBears to a 2-1 win over the Biscuits on Sunday.
Parraz hit a 1-1 pitch from Biscuits closer Santiago Garrido down the left-field line and give Mobile a series win over Montgomery. The Biscuits suffered only three walk-off losses last year, though two were within a four-day period in August at Tennessee and Jackson.
Biscuits left-hander Grayson Garvin, making his second Double-A start, threw three no-hit innings. He walked one and struck out four.
The BayBears took a 1-0 lead in the fifth against reliever Andrew Bellatti. Parraz walked, went to third on David Peralta's single and scored on a Jon Griffin flyout.
Montgomery tied the game in he seventh inning when Alejandro Segovia singled home Willie Argo, but the Biscuits missed a golden chance in the top of the ninth.
Cameron Seitzer drew a leadoff walk and Riccio Torrez pinch-ran for him. Richie Shaffer singled to put runners on first and second with none out. Argo struck out, Segovia hit a groundout and Jake Hager struck out to end it.
