Romero might be bound for big leagues

Enny Romero has been scratched from his scheduled start tonight for Triple-A Durham and could be headed for the big leagues.

Tampa Bay's Jake Odorizzi, who is scheduled to start Tuesday at Baltimore, is sick. The Rays sent Odorizzi back to their hotel today before tonight's game with the Orioles, according to reports.

Romero, who made his major league debut last September, has a 3.72 ERA and 12 strikeouts in two starts covering 9 2/3 innings this year.
