A four-run sixth inning lifted the Mobile BayBears to a 5-3 victory over the Biscuits on Saturday.
David Peralta hit a go-ahead, two-run double with two outs in the sixth.
Mobile trailed 3-1 entering the inning. Sean Jamieson scored on a Justin Greene flyout before Jake Lamb singled in Mike Freeman to tie it. After the Biscuits called on Jake Thompson to relieve starter Mike Colla, Garrett Weber singled and Peralta doubled to make it 5-3.
The Biscuits had just one baserunner in their final three at-bats. In the eighth, Willie Argo drew a one-out walk, stole second and went to third on an error. A strikeout and popup ended the threat.
Luke Maile hit his first Double-A home run in the second inning, giving Montgomery a 1-0 lead. Peralta scored on a groundout in the bottom of the second to tie it.
Montgomery rallied in the top of the second for a 3-1 lead. Cameron Seitzer singled home Taylor Motter and Alejandro Segovia singled in Argo.
Colla (0-1) gave up four runs on five hits in 5 2/3 innings. BayBears starter Bryan Woodall, a former Auburn player, allowed three runs in 5 2/3. Woodall retired 10 straight Biscuits at one point.
