Brett Nommensen's grand slam capped a six-run first inning that propelled the Biscuits to a 9-6 win over the Huntsville Stars on Wednesday.
With two outs and two runners on, Derek Dietrich was hit by a pitch before Kyeong Kang's walk forced in Ty Morrison. Mike Sheridan walked to bring home Omar Luna before Nommensen stepped to the plate.
Nommensen hit a 3-1 pitch over the right-field wall. It was the second grand slam this month, the third this season and the 25th in Biscuits history.
