Mobile BayBears outfielder Keon Broxton and Birmingham Barons right-hander Nick McCully won the Southern League's weekly awards.
McCully gave up one hit over six shutout innings in a win Sunday at Jacksonville and has a 17-inning shutout streak. He's 4-1 with a 3.00 ERA.
Broxton was 10-for-25 for the week that ended Sunday with three home runs, eight RBIs and four runs scored. Broxton has a .233 average in 21 games.
The BayBears have had five award winners the last four weeks. McCully is Birmingham's first winner this year.
