Leon Landry hit a go-ahead home run in the third inning and the Jackson Generals held the Biscuits to five hits in a 3-1 victory Saturday night.
Chance Ruffin (2-2) held to Biscuits to one run -- a Kevin Kiermaier homer to lead off the first -- over six innings with no walks and seven strikeouts.
Biscuits starter Merrill Kelly (3-5) tied a season high with seven innings, but he gave up three runs on six hits. It was Montgomery's first quality-start loss this season.
The Biscuits have scored two runs or less 20 times this season.
