Friday's Rays roundup

Bulls 9, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 4
Brandon Guyer doubled, singled, had two RBIs and scored twice. Tim Beckham doubled, singled, walked twice, was caught stealing, RBI'd and scored. Juan Apodaca singled twice, walked, had two RBIs and scored twice. Alex Colome gave up two unearned runs over five innings. Manager Charlie Montoyo picked up his 500th win with the Bulls and the 1,147th of his career. He's 500-408 at Durham.

Fort Myers 6, Stone Crabs 5
Alejandro Segovia doubled, singled, walked twice and RBI'd. Jake Hager singled, walked twice, was plunked, was caught thieving and scored. Parker Markel's 5 1/3 innings featured three runs (one earned) on eight hits.

Great Lakes 4, Hot Rods 0 (Game 1)
Marty Gantt doubled and singled. Patrick Leonard singled and walked. Ryan Dunn walked. For the offense, that's all, folks. Sean Bierman gave up two runs in four innings. Nick Sawyer tossed three no-hit innings, but four walks and two wild pitches led to two runs.

Hot Rods 4, Great Lakes 2 (Game 2)
Tommy Coyle doubled, walked, was picked off and had two RBIs. Patrick Leonard walked twice and scored twice. Ryan Dunn walked thrice and scored once. Marcus Jensen threw 2 1/3 shutout innings.
