Houser wins award

Montgomery's James Houser won the Southern League's weekly pitching award Monday. Houser was 2-0 last week, allowing four hits in 11.1 innings. He struck out nine and walked two. Houser is 3-0 with a 2.48 ERA this season and has won his last 14 starts, dating to last year at Class A Visalia.
