With ESPN2 carrying four hours of draft coverage next week, each team has to send some people to Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex for the face time. The Devil Rays are sending Don Zimmer and Dave Martinez.
In what should be a surprise to absolutely nobody, the Dodgers' group includes Tommy Lasorda, so that first-round pick should be entertaining.
Each team will have its main draft operations at home. To make the draft more telegenic, teams have five minutes for their first-round picks -- and will surely be required to take almost all of it. By the time the TV cameras go down, the draft will be on a teleconference and those guys will be ready to motor like a green flag just dropped.
The draft starts June 7 at 1 p.m.
