Not ho-hum Sunday anymore

Barons hitting coach Richie Hebner and manager Rafael Santana ejected in the bottom of the second.

Biscuits catcher Josh Arhart was hit by a pitch a half-inning after Barons left fielder Cory Aldridge, who homered twice Saturday night, was hit by a pitch. Home-plate umpire Jeff Latter warned both dugouts and Santana came out to express his displeasure with that decision.

While Santana and Latter discussed the situation, first-base umpire Rusty Barrett ejected Hebner. Santana survived Latter but ran to Barrett following Hebner's heave-ho. He didn't survive that one long.

Pretty pedestrian argument (so no changes to my list from Phillip Wellman's dirt party earlier this month).

It's the aftershock is the most interesting aspect of this one. Barons pitcher Wes Whisler had to give up his jersey so that pitching coach Richard Dotson could coach third.
