There's major Tampa Bay brass on hand for the next few games.
Farm director Mitch Lukevics would be noteable enough, but he's not high enough on the pay scale to count as "major" brass. (I write that confident someone will pass it along.) There's also minor-league roving pitching instructor Dick Bosman and assistant trainer Chris Tomashoff.
The biggest fish is Andrew Friedman, whose official title is executive vice president of baseball operations. Friedman told me at spring training that he was going to make it to Riverwalk this year. With the Devil Rays on a three-city road trip, Friedman finally came to see his budding Class AA stars.
