Biscuits pitchers James Houser and Jon Barratt are off Tampa Bay's list for the Arizona Fall League. The Devil Rays announced their contingent today and included Durham's Calvin Medlock, but not the two Montgomery left-handers.
Houser was suspended last weekend for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance but remained eligible for the AFL. Barratt went on the disabled list at the same time with a sore shoulder, which may be why the Rays pulled him.
The other AFLers: Evan Meek, Nick DeBarr, Reid Brignac, John Jaso, Evan Longoria and Chris Nowak. Nowak said last week he's on the taxi squad until Longoria heads to Taiwan with Team USA for the IBAF World Cup.

I thought that Jaso was on the AFL squad.
Just flat left him off. I'll update it.
Thank you Stacy. I enjoy reading your blog, I try and look at it every day.
Thanks again,
