We are a go for Sunday's graphics package, but here's a sneak peek. I'll add some of the Wayward Biscuits who are in independent ball when their stats are updated Saturday.

Remember, this does not excuse you from buying Sunday's paper, if it's available in your area.

Statistics are through Friday. Some of these won't appear in Sunday's package because of space issues.

CLASS AAA, DURHAM BULLS
International League South
(17-19, second place, 7.5 GB)
RHP Andy Sonnanstine is 4-2 with a 2.17 ERA. He has 47 strikeouts and seven walks in 45.2 innings. Hitters have a .202 average against him.
RF Justin Ruggiano has a .318 average with two home runs, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He hit a grand slam Tuesday and has 17 hits in his last nine games.
C Shawn Riggans is hitting .270 with 10 RBIs.
RHP Jason Hammel is 1-4 with a 2.76 ERA. Three of his losses came in games where the Bulls were shut out.
1B Wes Bankston’s .279 average include 10 doubles and three home runs.
2B Elliot Johnson has a .174 average and 37 strikeouts.
RHP Mitch Talbot is 2-4 with an 8.71 ERA. Talbot faced 10 batters and failed to record an out last weekend, but put together a quality start in a win Thursday.


HIGH-CLASS A, VERO BEACH DEVIL RAYS

RHP Wade Davis, in his first outing since a May 4 no-hitter, gave up one run and four hits over 5.2 innings Wednesday. He’s 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA. In 42 innings, Davis has allowed 25 hits and struck out 38.
LHP Jake McGee has held hitters to a .180 average. He’s 2-1 with a 1.82 ERA.
3B Patrick Cottrell is hitting .307 with four home runs and 18 RBIs.
DH Sergio Pedroza has a .236 average and 26 strikeouts in 21 games.
RHP Eddie De La Cruz is 2-1 with five saves and a 1.80 ERA in 13 appearances.


LOW-CLASS A, COLUMBUS CATFISH
South Atlantic League Southern
(23-12, third place, 3 GB)
RHP Wade Townsend is on the disabled list with right forearm fatigue and last pitched May 2. He’s 3-1 with a 2.33 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 27 innings.
RHP Josh Butler is 2-0 with a 1.36 ERA in six starts.
LF Ryan Royster is hitting .345 with five home runs, 16 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He had a 16-game hit streak snapped last Sunday.


WAYWARD BISCUITS

2B Fernando Cortez is hitting .308 with 21 runs scored in 33 games for Class AAA Omaha (Royals). He’s also played first base, third base, left field and center field.
3B Vince Harrison made his debut with Class AA Carolina (Marlins) on Thursday after hitting .297 in 22 games with Class A Jupiter.
CF Joey Gathright has 21 walks and a .444 on-base percentage at Class AAA Omaha (Royals). He’s 7-of-10 on steals and has scored 15 runs.
3B Rico Washington has a .308 average for Class AAA Memphis (Cardinals).
2B Johnny Raburn has a .231 average at Class AAA Albuquerque (Marlins).
C Ryan Christianson is hitting .241 with Class AAA Memphis (Cardinals).

LHP Jason Cromer is 2-3 with a 6.59 ERA for Class AA Wichita (Royals).
RHP Jim Magrane has an 0-2 record and a 7.79 ERA at Class AA Harrisburg (Nationals).
SS Jace Brewer has a .284 average at Class AA Wichita (Royals).
RHP Marcos Carvajal is in the starting rotation for Class AA Binghamton (Mets). He’s 0-2 with a 6.86 ERA.

RHP Jose Diaz is 2-1 with a 1.67 ERA in 17 appearances for the Yokohama BayStars in Japan. He has 20 walks and 28 strikeouts in 27 innings.
RHP Travis Minix is 2-2 with five saves and a 2.32 ERA for the Macoto Cobras in Taiwan.
