5 Crabs named to FSL end-of-season All-Star team

Left-handed pitcher Matt Moore leads a group of five Charlotte Stone Crabs named to the Florida State League's end-of-season All-Star team.

Starting pitcher Joe Cruz, reliever Zach Quate and leading hitter Stephen Vogt join Moore on the team. Jim Morrison was named the league's manager of the year.

Vogt leads the league in hitting, Cruz has a league-best 12 wins and ranks second with a 2.98 ERA, and Quate has 23 saves and has held hitters to a .191 average. Morrison has the Crabs back in the playoffs for a second straight year.

Moore leads the entire minor leagues with 197 strikeouts and is on the cusp of being the first since 1971 from the FSL to reach 200. He was also a four-time FSL pitcher of the week.
