Brent Leach fired seven shutout innings, retiring the last 13 men he faced, to lead the Chattanooga Lookouts to a 6-1 win over the Biscuits on Saturday.
Matt Wallach hit a two-run home run in the second and Corey Smith’s three-run blast in the third made it 6-0. The Biscuits, who have lost a season-high five straight, scored in the eighth when Drew Anderson came home on an Emeel Salem groundout.
Leach (6-3) gave up an infield single in the first and a line single in the third. He walked one and struck out five.
