Moore eclipses 200-Ks

Matt Moore struck out 11 over six innings for the Charlotte Stone Crabs in a 3-2 win over Jupiter in the opening game of a doubleheader tonight.

Moore finishes the regular season with 208 strikeouts. He's the first Florida State League pitcher since 1971 to reach 200.

Recently drafted Jacob Thompson, just up from Hudson Valley, pitched five innings and got the win in the Crabs' 3-1 victory.
