Longoria shares AL player of week award

Rays third baseman Evan Longoria has been named the co-American League player of the week, along with Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees. Longoria was 11-for-28 with three home runs and 12 RBIs over the last week. Cano knocked in 13 runs and was 9-for-27 with four homers.
