Biscuits pitcher Matt Moore may be one of the top prospects in the minor leagues, but being named to an All-Star Game on Wednesday was a career first.
"It will be something new," Moore said. "I don't really have any experience, so I'm just looking to see what it will be like."
Catcher Stephen Vogt and reliever Marquis Fleming said last year's Florida State League game was their first All-Star experience. Third baseman Daniel Mayora said this is his sixth: 2004 Dominican, 2006 short-season Northwest League, 2007 low-A Asheville, 2009-10 Double-A Tulsa.
