Alfredo Marte and Raoul Torrez each homered to lead the Mobile BayBears in an 11-3 win Sunday in Montgomery's home opener.
The Biscuits had three players leave with apparent injuries: starting pitcher Shane Dyer (after one inning), left fielder Omar Luna (after two) and right fielder Isaias Velasquez (in the ninth).
Montgomery used five pitchers, including a position player for the final two innings. Infielder Greg Sexton threw two shutout innings, allowing one hit and striking out one.
The Biscuits scored in the fourth when Henry Wrigley walked and scored on a David Wendt single. In the ninth, Kyeong Kang, who replaced Velasquez, hit a two-run home run.
Marte hit a three-run home run in the first and Torrez a two-run shot in the seventh.
