Dan Brewer scored on Phil Gosselin's 11th-inning flyout to lift the Mississippi Braves to a 5-4 win over the Biscuits on Saturday.
Tommy La Stella homered for the Braves, who led 4-1 in the middle of the fifth inning.
Mikie Mahtook's RBI triple capped a tying three-run fifth for the Biscuits, who lost four of five games in their series with Mississippi. Montgomery had three hits in the final six innings Saturday.
Jose Martinez led off the 11th with an infield single and Brewer replaced him. A walk and bunt put Brewer at third with one out for Gosselin's flyout to center field.
After Biscuits starter Victor Mateo gave up four runs on 11 hits in 5 2/3 innings, three relievers combined for 4 1/3 shutout innings. Matt Nevarez came on in the 11th, allowed his first run this season and took the loss.
