Chris Archer left after just three innings, giving up a run on three hits with three walks. Mike Fontenot homered, doubled, was plunked and had two RBIs.
Stone Crabs 4, Bradenton 1Ryan Carpenter fired seven innings of one-run ball, with five hits allowed, a walk and six strikeouts. Drew Vettleson hit a two-run homer and walked. Jeff Malm doubled, singled was caught stealing and scored. Hector Guevara hit a two-run homer, too.
Lake County 6, Hot Rods 1
Marty Gantt walked twice, scored and threw out a runner at home. The Rods had two hits: a double by Ryan Dunn and a single by Andrew Toles. Eduar Quinonez's six innings featured four runs (one earned) on four hits.
