Monday's Rays roundup

Bulls 2, Buffalo 1
Desmond Jennings
hit a two-run home run in the third. He has 10 homers this year. Chris Bootcheck worked seven innings, allowing one run on seven hits, no walks and five strikeouts.

St. Lucie 3, Stone Crabs 2 (11)
Matt Stabelfeld
gave up his first run after 13 previous innings with Charlotte. Jake Thompson's seven innings, featured two runs, one earned, along with seven hits. Ty Morrison, freshly off the extended spring DL, was 3-for-5. Brett Nommensen and Mark Thomas each walked twice.

Staten Island 8, Renegades 3
Chris Winder
had three hits, an outfield assist and an error. Kes Carter and Kyle Holloway walked twice and had an RBI. Roque Colon threw 4 2/3 innings, giving up an unearned run on five hits.

GCL Red Sox 4, GCL Rays 2
Omar Narvaez
had two hits, including a double, and walked in the GCL Rays' opener. Eli Echarry threw four innings of two-run ball. Isaias Velasquez, on Montgomery's DL all season, was 1-for-4 with an RBI in his first action.
