Paul Goldschmidt hit his league-leading 22nd home run and Wade Miley fired seven shutout innings in the Mobile BayBears' 3-1 win over the Biscuits on Sunday.
Goldschmidt's two-run homer came in a three-run first inning off Shane Dyer (4-2), who lasted through five. Miley (3-2) gave up five hits and a walk.
Shawn O'Malley singled and scored in the eighth for Montgomery, which finished the first half with a 34-36 record.
