Huntsville's Cody Scarpetta won the Southern League's belatedly announced pitcher of the week award today -- and not Montgomery's Matt "No-Hitter" Moore.
Scarpetta was 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA over 14 innings through the week ending Sunday. He's 4-3 with a 3.97 ERA this year. Chattanooga left fielder Alfredo Silverio, who was 13-for-26 with seven RBIs and five runs scored, was the player of the week.
