Tuesday's Rays roundup

Bulls 1, Norfolk 0
Rehabbing Jeff Niemann and four relievers combined on a five-hitter. Niemann went 5 1/3 innings. Jake McGee worked the ninth for his fifth save. Dan Johnson's RBI single in the fourth was one of three Durham hits. Brandon Guyer was hit by a pitch, stole second and scored on Johnson's single. Russ Canzler had the other two hits.

Stone Crabs 7, Bradenton 5
Tyler Bortnick
was 2-for-2 with a solo home run, two RBIs, two walks and three stolen bases. Brett Nommensen and Dustin Biell also had two RBIs each.

Hot Rods 8, West Michigan 4
Victor Mateo
threw six shutout innings, allowing four hits and two walks. Luke Bailey doubled, hit a three-run home run and finished with four RBIs. Phil Wunderlich had three hits and walked. Kevin Kiermaier walked twice, scored twice and swiped a base. Julio Cedeno had two RBIs.
