Tuesday's Rays roundup

Buffalo 9, Bulls 1
Lance Cormier
gave up one earned run (four total) in four innings. Russ Canzler's fourth-inning flyout brought in Ray Olmedo. Dan Johnson singled and walked.

St. Lucie 9, Stone Crabs 1
Matt Hall's
bloop single in the third was Charlotte's lone hit. He stole a base, accounting for Charlotte's lone runner to reach scoring position. Anthony Scelfo drew a walk. Alex Colome worked five innings, giving up four runs (three earned).

Staten Island 1, Renegades 0 (12)
Parker Markel
threw six shutout innings, allowing one hit and walking three. Charles Cononie followed with two perfect frames. Chris Winder had two hits, Kyle Holloway two walks and Leonardo Reginatto a single and walk.

Princeton Rays 7, Burlington 5
Cameron Seitzer
hit a solo home run and finished with two RBIs and two runs scored in Princeton's opener. In their pro debuts, former first-round draft picks Josh Sale homered and Drew Vettleson singled twice, stole a base and scored. Felipe Rivero gave up one run in 5 2/3 innings.

GCL Rays 8, GCL Red Sox 1
Matthew Johnson
singled twice, walked twice and scored twice. Julian Morillo, Hector Rodriguez and Edward Dorville had two RBIs each. Hugo Duarte's six innings featured just one run on three hits.
