All the leagues are naming their All-Stars, so raysprospects.com has developed a fine idea and is naming an All-Star team of Tampa Bay minor leaguers. Online voting is open through July 5.
Jim Donten of the site wrote that if all goes well with this, they'll do a team for the short-season teams and a full-system postseason team, too.
They're going to list the vote totals periodically, just like the major league All-Star vote. Give me a few days and I'll list my own vote. (I'll say now that little hellion Jeremy Hellickson might deserve to be the starting pitcher.)
