Durham's Jeremy Hellickson and Desmond Jennings, the top stars on last year's Biscuits team, are headed to the MLB Futures Game next month. (They'll be two of the "elder statesmen" in the game, Biscuits official scorekeeper Kyle Kreutzer has exclaimed.)
The Diamond Jaxx have two players going: third baseman Alex Liddi and left fielder Carlos Peguero.
Hellickson and Jennings will be on the U.S. team, along with infielder Drew Cumberland of the San Diego organization. He's the younger brother of former Biscuits outfielder Shaun Cumberland.
Liddi of Italy and Peguero of the Dominican Republic suit up for the World.
