Biscuits pitcher Alex Cobb had 13 strikeouts in today's 5-3 loss at Huntsville. That's one shy of the team record of 14 set by Mitch Talbot in a playoff win over Jacksonville on Sept. 9, 2006.
Huntsville fans clearly set another mark, filling Joe Davis Stadium to the tune of an announced crowd of 504 today for the smallest gathering in Biscuits history. That clipped the 595 from Monday. Those eclipsed the 630 that turned out to see Montgomery on June 20 ... at Huntsville. In Biscuits history, there have been 24 announced crowds of less than 1,000. Huntsville has a 14-10 lead over West Tenn in that category.

those two teams need to find diff cities - how about selma or auburn or tuscaloosa or tupelo or columbus or pensacola or biloxi..... I think even BugTussle would draw a bigger crowd.
West Tenn has been doomed for years, that city just doesnt want to support a AA Baseball team. Hunstville probably would support a team if they had a new ballpark. Their steak has lost its sizzle!
