Mark the date: Archer has Smokies, romance on schedule
It looks like Chris Archer will have his eye on more than the Tennessee Smokies for his scheduled start July 7.
Archer is the subject of the Biscuits' second annual "Win a date with ..." competition, which will coincide with his day to pitch, unless the rotation changes. He will surely endure witnessing a stressful selection process like Henry Wrigley did last season. It is good to see in this video that Archer passed on Paul Phillips as an early winner, though it was quite distressing to see Phillips in a cameo role as a catcher.

I suspect thats cause we need to protect ashley after that collision with Monty Meyers at home plate during the last film shoot!
