Thursday: Generals 5, Biscuits 3
Biscuits starter Joe Cruz left Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Jackson Generals with an apparent injury. Cruz lasted just 1 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits. He threw just 39 pitches.
Jackson snapped a 3-3 tie in the sixth when Kyle Seager hit an RBI double and came around to score ona double-error by right fielder Reid Fronk (an apparent late-night scoring change here) errors by Reid Fronk and Cole Figueroa. Henry Wrigley hit a two-run homer in the fourth and Tim Beckham a sacrifice fly in the third for the Biscuits.

Any word yet on Cruz and if the injury is serious?
I heard reinforcements are coming by way of signing Jim Paduch (RHP). Do you think he will join the team in Jackson tonight or Montgomery this weekend?
Thanks for letting me know about Paduch. I don't know when he'll join the team.
I haven't been told anything on Cruz that I can report, but they were already short a pitcher with Chad Thall's retirement.
