Bulls 4, Gwinnett 3 (12)Will Rhymes came home on an error to win it for the Bulls. Rhymes scored twice and Brandon Guyer walked twice. Starter Alex Cobb worked five innings, allowing one run on six hits with eight strikeouts.
Stone Crabs 8, Fort Myers 6Derek Dietrich had three RBIs and scored twice. Mikie Mahtook singled, doubled, walked twice had two RBIs and scored in his pro debut. Grayson Garvin worked three innings and walked four in his debut.
Hot Rods 3, South Bend 0Jake Floethe worked five innings and combined with Ryan Carpenter, Jake Partridge and Austin Hubbard on a five-hitter. Todd Glaesmann hit an RBI single in the third and Kes Carter a two-run double in the eighth. Jake Hager was 3-for-3 with a double.
