The Biscuits managed just three hits in Monday's 3-0 loss to the Mississippi Braves. Two of the hits were in the first inning against Mississippi starter Zeke Spruill (5-4), who lasted six.
The Biscuits failed to score for the second time this season. Both came at Mississippi in a game started by Joe Cruz. On April 13, Braves right-hander David Hale threw six no-hit innings in a 4-0 win. Montgomery totaled four hits.
