Biscuits tie record with 10-run sixth

Tyler Bortnick's two-run double capped a record-tying 10-run sixth inning for the Biscuits tonight. Montgomery sent 14 batters to the plate, with six getting hits, three receiving walks, one getting hit, one reaching via error and, of course, three recording outs.

The Biscuits also scored 10 runs in the sixth inning of a 12-7 win at Carolina on Aug. 12, 2011.

Tonight, Omar Luna led off with a single and also hit a two-run single, while Ryan Garko walked and singled in the inning. Generals reliever Jandy Sena bore the brunt of it. He gave up six runs (five earned) on three hits and a walk without recording an out.
