The Biscuits have added catcher Mayo Acosta from Triple-A Durham and sent catcher David Wendt to high-Class A Charlotte.
Acosta, who started the season with Charlotte, had a .190 average in nine games with Durham. Wendt had a .276 average in 18 games for Montgomery.
