Monday's Rays roundup

Bulls 1, Empire State 0
Alex Cobb and three relievers combined on a five-hitter. Cobb gave up three hits, walked three and struck out eight in five innings. Juan Miranda homered in the seventh inning and singled. Craig Albernaz walked twice.

Stone Crabs 13, Fort Myers 1
Cody Rogers set a team record with six RBIs. Derek Dietrich tripled twice, hit a two-run homer, had three RBIs and scored three times. Mikie Mahtook doubled twice, walked and scored twice. Grayson Garvin notched his first pro win, allowing one run over five innings. Nate Garcia allowed one hit over the final four innings.

South Bend 2, Hot Rods 0 (Game 1)
Drew Vettleson doubled for Bowling Green's only hit. Felipe Rivero's six innings included two runs on four hits.

Hot Rods 3, South Bend 2 (Game 2)
Ryan Brett singled, walked, stole twice, was nabbed once, RBI'd and scored. Jeff Malm homered and doubled. Trevor Shull, Jacob Partridge and Charlie Cononie combined on a two-hitter. Partridge is 4-0 with a 1.32 ERA.
