Matt Buschmann gave up one run over a season-high seven innings to lead the Biscuits in a 4-1 win over the Mississippi Braves on Tuesday.
Buschmann (2-2) allowed five hits, walked two and struck out six. He has quality starts in four of his last five outings. Frank De Los Santos threw two perfect innings for his third save.
Montgomery scored four unearned runs in the fourth. With one out, Mississippi committed back-to-back errors that brought in the first run. Tyler Bortnick and Greg Sexton hit consecutive RBI singles before Brad Coon had an RBI groundout to make it 4-1.
